Love Urdu Poetry Definition

Hats off to Samsonite for doing such a beautiful job at translation. I wanna give a shot to the "Dil-e-veeran". I am not anywhere close to saying I know urdu but I love it none-the-less. This ghazal is portraying the state of a lover post a breakup. "Without you this is what my world/heart/life feels like or has become". Thats teh gist of the ghazal.

(Dil-e-veeran hay, teri yaad hay tanhaiyee hay

Dil=heart, Veeran=deserted, Dil-e-veeran=A deserted heart, Hay=is there, Teri=your, Yaad=memory, Hay=is there, Tanhaiyee=Loneliness, Hay=is there
> There is a deserted heart, there is a memory of you, there is loneliness

Zindagi dard ki bahoon main simat ayi hay) x2

Zindagi=life, dard=pain, ki=of/belonging to, bahoon=arms, main=in, simat= (now this is a very hard word to translate, iknow what it means but to say itin english is a challenge) Simatne ka matlab, meaning of simat is may be condensing or teh act of condensing, everything coming together into something small. When I explain teh meaning of teh phrase it will make sense. , aayi hay= has come

Mere mehboob zamanay main koi tujhsa kahan
Mere=My, mehboob=love, zamanay=world, mein=in, koi=someone, tujhsa=like you, kahan=where is
>My love where is someone like you in this world? Meaning there is none that is like you, you are special

Tere janay say meri jaan pe baan ayi hay
Tere=your, janay=going away, say=with, meri=my, jaan=life, pe=on, baan=done, aayi hay=has come
>Your 'going away''not being a part of my life' had such an impact on my life...its has become a life or death situation for me.

Zindagi dard ki bahoon main simat ayi hay
Dil-e-veeran hay, teri yaad hay tanhaiyee hay

Aisa ujra hay umeedoon ka chamaan tere baad x2
Aisa=like this, ujra=devastated, hay=is, umeedoon=expectations/anticipations, ka=of, chaman=garden, tere=your, baad=after
>Garden of my anticipations/expectations has been devastated'laid waste' to that extent that

Phool murjhayai baharoon pe khizaan chaiyee hay
Phool=flowers, murjhayai=wilted, baharoon=springs(as in plural for all flowering
