This type of poetry is called 'Azaad' Nazm or 'independent' peotry as there is no requirement of rhyming or balancing the verses.

Anyways, I am no expert in urdu poetry myself but here goes my effort. Please note that this poem is written by a female poet (she being the lover) for her love and hence the feminine words like meri, utarti etc.

translation:

Wish!

That I was a pen

When you start to write in solitude

The tales of your heart

Quietly I would step/spread on the paper

And via the touch of your hand

I could understand your emotions

Midst the darkness of the night

when you would take me (pen) out from the drawer

My heart will bloom in merriment

That for a few more moments I would be a prisoner of your hand

Oh! if you could make me a prisoner for life
